Scott: As most of you have guessed by now, we have arrived in Bar Harbor. Woohoo! I, for one, am really glad to be done. These last 2 weeks in New England have been really, really tough. Lots and lots of climbing on really steep hills. We’ve been in Bar Harbor for 2 days. Yesterday, we rode the carriage paths of Acadia NP with our new-found friends Bill and Laurel. Today, we packed up the tandem and gear and sent it all home. Tomorrow we have a long day of travel via shuttle, bus, taxi and train to NY, NY. Here are the final numbers of our adventure. Wow! In a few days, we will post once more with our final thoughts.

When in Maine, decadently eat lobster and savor the moment. Dahling. |
Oh, and eat other Maine goodies too. Like oyster stew and wild blueberry pie. |
It’s cold but we love our trip and each other. |
Ahhh, the Maine coastline…… |
The end or our journey in Bar Harbor. |
